We are pleased to be presenting our 16th issue of Simple Solutions That Work! In this issue we will be discussing Flexible Manufacturing & Engineering Trends. While manufacturing has been tested in the past; nothing compares to the upheaval caused by the pandemic. All of this pointed to known weakness in our supply chain along with the many reasons to be using data correctly and having intelligent automated process to rely upon. No question about it, we are in a field of rapid change that is coming at us in the form of newer technologies including additive manufacturing, automated processes, software, and modular- based manufacturing that are all designed to increase production rates with higher quality all while reducing labor requirements. All of this requires thinking differently than we have at any other time. Creating an environment for adopting change is not easy for many. We hope you will receive much inspiration from this issue.
